The peony is symbolic flower in Peranakan culture that is often used in art pieces, crockery and jewelry. The Nonyas love being seen in it for it's auspicious significance.
Our Mudan (牡丹) dainty dangles come in pink tourmaline, green aventurine and blue apatite with a pearl that is sewn to half a peony in fan like shape.
